At Fuvelo, we believe performance cycling and environmental responsibility should go hand in hand.
That means reducing unnecessary packaging, removing needless waste, and delivering curated bikes in a way that is better for riders and better for the road ahead.
A smarter way to deliver a bike
At Fuvelo, sustainability is not just about materials. It is also about process.
Too often, bikes are assembled, checked and adjusted - only to then be partly dismantled again to fit inside a box. That creates extra packaging, extra handling, extra waste and extra work for the customer. It also leaves the rider to deal with tools, setup, adjustments and the disposal of a large bike box and protective packaging.
We think there is a better way.
For selected curated builds, our goal is to reduce unnecessary packaging and deliver bikes in a more complete, more carefully prepared and more rider-friendly way. That means less waste, less hassle and more confidence from the moment the bike arrives.

Built properly - Your bike is assembled and prepared as intended, not built only to be partly undone for a cardboard box.

PDI you can trust - Our approach separates assembly from quality control. The bike is built, checked and prepared with the confidence of a full PDI - not compromised by disassembly and repacking.

Delivered ready to ride - No wrestling with large boxes. No disposing of piles of packaging. No uncertainty around final setup. Just a bike delivered to your door, ready to ride.
Ready to ride means ready to ride
We want the delivery experience to reflect the quality of the bike itself.
That means a more thoughtful process:
- your bike is fully assembled at our assembly workshop
- a separate QC / PDI check is completed after the build
- the delivery team carries out a further check before handover
- the bike is delivered direct to your door in a ready-to-ride condition
This matters for two reasons.
First, it creates a better customer experience. You do not need to worry about reattaching parts, making last-step adjustments, or dealing with a large discarded bike box and excess protective packaging.
Second, it protects the integrity of the preparation process. A bike that has been properly built and fully checked should ideally reach the rider in that same state - not be partly undone just to fit conventional shipping constraints.

Built properly. Checked properly. Delivered properly.
- Why it matters
Reducing waste is not just about appearances. It is about improving the whole journey from workshop to rider.
Traditional bike shipping often comes with oversized cartons, internal protective materials, plastic ties, foam sleeves and one-way packaging waste. Fuvelo’s approach aims to reduce that burden while also improving convenience and confidence for the rider.
For us, that means focusing on practical improvements:
- use less packaging where possible
- remove waste created by unnecessary repacking
- deliver a better ownership experience
- keep quality control and rider confidence high
- The principles guiding us
Performance without pointless waste: We want to deliver great bikes with less unnecessary material, fewer throwaway extras and less avoidable handling.
Practical sustainability: We care about actions riders can actually feel: less packaging, less assembly hassle and less waste to deal with at home.
Confidence in preparation: A bike should arrive with the reassurance of a proper build and full PDI - not as a compromise between workshop standards and box size.
Progress over perfection: We are building better habits from the start and will keep improving how we build, check, deliver and support what we sell.
- What this means in practice
We are a young brand, which means we have the opportunity to build better habits from day one.
That includes questioning why a carefully assembled bike should then be partly dismantled again just to fit a conventional shipping box. It means reducing waste where we can, improving the delivery experience, and giving riders more confidence in the bike they receive.
We love cycling because it is healthy, efficient and liberating. We want the way we run Fuvelo to reflect that - not only in the products we choose, but in how those products reach our customers.
